National Honor Society (NHS) is a club that recognizes academic excellence, exceptional leadership, and service at Westview. NHS aims to promote student engagement in the community, organizing in-person and virtual events from mentoring African refugees to empowering the elderly and healthcare professionals to overcome aging-related diseases. Our vision is to provide Wolverines a unique experience, connecting them with individuals from diverse backgrounds and promote newfound empathy and understanding in high-schoolers. Planning events in service groups, NHS develops students with initiative and fosters a tightly-knit community of young leaders collaborating to make an impact outside of academic life. Meetings take place on the first Thursday of each month and new students are required to submit an application at the beginning of the year. For more information, please email our executive board at nhs.wvwolverines@gmail.com, visit our website https://nhswvwolverines.wixsite.com/wvnhs, or DM us @westview.nhs on Instagram.
