Westview High School is proud to have tons of diverse clubs for students to get connected and involved. Clubs are an essential part of our school culture and they're now more important as ever!

WANT TO START a club?

New 2020-21 club applications are now open and will close at the end of first quarter. Club founders are required to submit a club application (linked below). We allow any club that does not violate PUSD's non-discriminatory policy or any other school/district rules and will help move culture forward on campus. After the application is reviewed and accepted, the prospective club leaders will present their idea to ASB and why it's necessary for Westview.

We do not accept clubs that are too similar to a existing club, so consider ways your club is unique in comparison to other clubs. If you have any further questions regarding the application process, click here to contact us!

2020-21 club renewals

Every club must renew annually in order to remain a Westview sanctiond "active" club. This year, due to the virtual setting, we are offering an option to renew your club for the 2020-21 year but indicate that all club activity will be paused until we return to school in person.

We strongly recommend you renew ASAP in order for your updated information to be accessible to students on our All Clubs page! If you have any questions, click here to contact us.

Club Resources

NEW: Club Meeting Guidelines 2020

- Meetings may be held via zoom where club advisors MUST be present

- Minutes must still be taken during meetings via zoom, and virtual signatures or another form of confirmation will replace real signatures.

- While in virtual school, clubs will not be able to publicize events by putting up flyers and posters around campus. Instead, you may submit graphics and/or videos to our interclub instagram, @westviewinterclub, to be approved and posted.

Publicity Requirements

Our halls are regularly filled with tons of club flyers and promotional material that serve as a sign of the vibrant students life we have at Westview. However, there are a few simple rules we ask all clubs to follow in order to maintain our facilities and follow district policy.

1.) Anything you put up MUST be stamped and approved by ASB. Stop by the ASB room during Wolverine Time or Lunch (on most days). Anything that is not stamped will be taken down.

2.) In order to be stamped, the non-discriminatory clause must be visible (see below).

3.) You must use masking tape (on everything besides the stucco walls)! Clear packing tape, scotch tape, duct tape, etc will all peel off paint and/or leave a residue.

Non-discriminatory clause

You must have the following clause on ALL physical promotional material in order for it to be approved for posting on campus:
